Speaking Notes

The loving kindness of God. Most people find loving kindness hard to find. God met Saul on the road and forgave him. You do not get there with works. God wants to take your burdens away and renew your youth and strength in God.

July Camp Podcast #2: Morning of Tuesday July 18th, 2006

Wednesday, July 26th, 2006

This sermon was recorded on the morning of Tuesday July 18th, 2006 at our 2006 July Camp at Gartmore. The speakers are Dr. G. Marshall and Miss J. Jack.

Speaking Notes

Abraham was burdened for Lot. He waged warfare and was victorious then the veil grew thin. As we move forward, Christ draws near and reveals Himself, the veil grows thin. Let them make me a sanctuary that I may dwell among them (the story of Moses). Obedience leads to Christ. God hides Moses in the cleft of the rock, after that Moses face shone. There is a place by God and the way in is always Christ. It is a hiding place that is safe and secure, but the starting point is always Calvary. Draw near to Christ through obedience, and He will remove the veils in our lives. The rebelling of Absalom was a dark hour in David’s life, but the veil grew thin. As he went through that experience Christ walked with him. Maybe it is your darkest hour, turn and give it to God and you will find Christ beside you. Open to Him and look to Him and He will come.

The first night of camp is important. It is a time to meet with God. Jesus was on the Mount with three of His disciples and He revealed His glory to them. Jesus is always wanting to show Himself to us. Christ can enter the valley of dry bones and bring life to it.

Podcast #34: Saturday, July 22nd, 2006

Tuesday, July 25th, 2006

This sermon was recorded on the evening of Saturday, July 22nd, 2006 in our Glasgow Church. The speaker is Mrs. Grace Gault.

Speaking Notes

Many have come back from camp refreshed, but some have not found victory. A champion has victory in his heart. Nehemiah had a vision – the work on the wall was halfway completed when discouragement came. We are halfway through the summer camps – watch and pray. A fox could break down the stones. Little things can ruin the anointing that has already been found. The strategy of the devil is to bring division and trouble. Go on building, but keep on guard. Don’t believe that you are useless. Without vision the people perish. Set yourselves to prayer.

Podcast #33: Saturday, July 15th, 2006

Tuesday, July 25th, 2006

This sermon was recorded on the evening of Saturday, July 15th, 2006 in our Glasgow Church. The speaker is Mrs. Grace Gault.

Speaking Notes

The battle between good and evil – the spiritual battle has been fought in the heavenly realm. Man was made in the image of God. After the fall, we became the battlefield. The more you give in to sin, the less of the battle there is. The storms happen to those who are really following Christ. When we commit ourselves to God, we become the battleground. Job was sailing along under unclouded skies. He was the richest man in the area, Godly and prosperous and people felt that the favour of God was upon him. God draws satans attention to Job – he touches all his possessions and health, but yet he does not deny God. He is in a place of deep suffering, but brings forth wonderful treasure. People thought he must have had a hidden sin in his life because of all that happened. He stood by God and He brought forth a righteous man. Never say why, or question God about a situation. God can let things happen that we don’t understand – victory in Jesus and a backbone of steel. Paul thought he was strong, determined and brave, but he was doing it all in his own strength – he had to be broken. He needed the prayer of Christ to save him. A battle is being fought in you to come into maturity. I have prayed for you all that your faith may not fail – believe in God.

Car designers keep ahead of fashion, perceptions change. Christianity does not need to change. The doctrine of hell is unfashionable. Hell is lived on earth. Many Christians are in danger of going to hell. There is a subtle disbelief in hell throughout the churches. People need to be frightened.
