July Camp Podcast #8: Morning of Friday July 21st, 2006

Tuesday, August 1st, 2006

This sermon was recorded on the morning of Friday July 21st, 2006 at our 2006 July Camp at Gartmore. The speakers are Dr. G. Marshall and Mrs J. Offord.

Speaking Notes

Jennifer suddenly recognised an old school friend after many years – Christ asked His disciples – who am I? Do we recognise His presence? After so many meetings Christ asks us the same question. We must find Christ for ourselves, not depending on others. God removes props, but some take up new props to replace the removed ones. Many are keen on having the mantle, but not the sackcloth and ashes. There is no need to pretend – be truthful. Do you call Him saviour, or do you live under condemnation. Trust in Christ.

Jesus prays for His disciples to be a part of Him and not of the world. Give your life completely to God. Be broken and yielded unto Him. Peter had a deep trial, but he was to be a pillar in the church – Example of Karen MacDonald’s life given to God. Give the whole tithe to Him.

Speaking Notes

Sir Digby Jones, a businessman wanted success, he studied warfare. He had two lists, training and discipline. He had a vision. These are principles for a spiritual battle. God disciplines those He loves. Sin brings punishment. We live in a shameless society. The stench of sin is everywhere – the sin of the ages. Our leaders only speak when they are under the anointing of God. They are fighters in God. Discipline is central.

Examples given of different types of deliverance. Christ is the only one who can set you free. Fight for your freedom, hate the sin. Come to a place of victory through Christ. God told the tribes to fight, they lost twice. God sent them, out the third time and they won. There should be no sin that has a grip on us.

July Camp Podcast #4: Morning of Wednesday July 19th, 2006

Tuesday, August 1st, 2006

This sermon was recorded on the morning of Wednesday July 19th, 2006 at our 2006 July Camp at Gartmore. The speakers are Dr. G. Marshall and Miss J. Jack.

Speaking Notes

The book of Isaiah speaks much of Christ, yet Isaiah did not know Him. He reached out and Christ was revealed to his spirit. The revelation can break on us too. Ezekiel saw a vision of the glory of God – at the centre is Christ. Daniel in the fiery furnace saw a fourth man – the Son of God. In the midst of trial comes Christ. Jesus is revealed again and again in the book of Revelation. The Son of Man was revealed to John – the Lamb who was slain. Christ would reveal Himself to us in new ways during this camp. He will meet every need. He is able to deliver you, but you must align yourself with Christ.
