Podcast #52: Saturday, November 25th 2006

Wednesday, November 29th, 2006

This sermon was recorded on the evening of Saturday, November 25th 2006 in our Glasgow Church. The speaker is Mrs. Grace Gault.

Speaking Notes

Healing. John tried to put into words the glory of God. Jesus had compassion upon the people – Moses and the fiery serpent. After victory, discouragement can come. Watch out for this, as this is when sin can come in. When the people of Israel looked at the serpent, they were healed. Whoever turns to Christ can be healed. Reference to George’s healing. Bless the Lord oh my soul. The mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting.

Podcast #51: Saturday November 18th 2006

Saturday, November 25th, 2006

This sermon was recorded on the evening of Saturday November 18th 2006 in our Glasgow Church. The speaker is Mrs. Grace Gault.

Speaking Notes

This book contains more prophesies than any other book in the bible, even Isaiah. Do you feel like you are in filthy garments and satan is standing before you in accusation? Satan confronts and reminds us of our sins before and after our conversion. It was Christ Himself who told the story of the Prodigal Son. He recalls the backslider to Himself. The father runs out towards him to welcome him. Christ shows the perfect father welcoming the repentant son. Christ has provided us with a new garment that we might enter into His presence and the place of access into the deeps. To Him who is able to keep you from falling.

Podcast #50: Saturday November 11th 2006

Saturday, November 25th, 2006

This sermon was recorded on the evening of Saturday November 11th 2006 in our Glasgow Church. The speaker is Miss Jennifer Jack.

Speaking Notes

The message to the followers of God was linked to the coming of Christ. It also speaks of the continuing presence of Christ. Who can abide the day of His coming? The cleansing of gold requires a refining fire – the changing of the heart of Zaccheus. Christ’s question to Peter was – do you love me? The refining fire can be outworked during suffering, and also just by being in His presence. At Paul’s conversion, he saw only Christ. Drink in His presence. Sin is removed to be replaced by Him. Moses was not aware that his face was shining after being in the presence of Christ. There is a call for people to be carriers of His presence.

Podcast #49: Saturday November 4th 2006

Saturday, November 25th, 2006

This sermon was recorded on the evening of Saturday November 4th 2006 in our Glasgow Church. The speaker is Mrs. Grace Gault.

Speaking Notes

When the coal touched Isaiah’s lips in the year that King Uzziah died he was undone in the glory and revelation of that glory. The glory of God is revealed in flashes throughout the bible. It is part of our inheritance. We must seek for the revelation of His glory to our souls. Paul was converted and transformed by the glory. We must be transformed and changed too – if not, make sure of your salvation. God changes our desires to want Him. Are you hungry for God? The glory is for each one of us. Ask Him for it. He will come again in glory with the angels. When God’s glory comes, it means miracle will take place. Seek God, seek Christ. Look up to Him and expect more. There is nothing impossible to Him. The glory will bring security.

Podcast #48: Saturday October 28th 2006

Saturday, November 25th, 2006

This sermon was recorded on the evening of Saturday October 28th 2006 in our Glasgow Church. The speaker is Mrs. Grace Gault.

Speaking Notes

In many people there is a drive forward to know God. We go to church, but sometimes we are not living out a life for God. Many lives want to stand in the middle, with little desire to wholly follow after God. At camps and conferences many get a hunger for God and put things right in their lives. This should be happening all the time. Some people are soft about sin, this is wrong. God looks for repentant hearts. Be real in you dealings with God.

Podcast #47: Saturday October 21st 2006

Saturday, November 25th, 2006

This sermon was recorded on the evening of Saturday October 21st 2006 in our Glasgow Church. The speaker is Mrs. Grace Gault.

Speaking Notes

There is something within the human heart that is happy to be dependent upon others to be a mediator between us and God. There is a place for this that is right and proper. There is a danger of becoming too dependent upon one another for receiving the word of God. Don’t grow spiritually lazy, always expecting God to speak to you through someone else. It would be more wonderful to hear the word of God directly to ourselves. Don’t be like the Israelites who were content for Moses to ascend the hill of God. Reference to David Wilkerson and his work. Find the voice of Christ for yourself, and learn to listen out for it.

Saturday, November 25th, 2006

This sermon was recorded on the evening of Saturday October 14th, 2006 in our Glasgow Church. The speaker is Mrs. Diana Rutherford.

Speaking Notes

Prayer – 2 themes included – lack of appetite and uncleanness. How much prayer life do you have? A lack of desire for meetings can affect other people. A lack of fulfilment, desires for earthly things – reference to a dream that Bill Marks had about Christ’s disappointment. Be prepared for the meetings and kindle the fire within. Persevere – to the pure, you show yourself pure. Uncleanness – ask God for a glimpse of His glory. We are not to take the standard of the world. Moses face shone after being in God’s presence.

Podcast #45: Saturday October 7th, 2006

Saturday, November 25th, 2006

This sermon was recorded on the evening of Saturday October 7th, 2006 in our Glasgow Church. The speaker is Mrs. Grace Gault.

Speaking Notes

God’s attitude to sin is very serious. The church, in general, is too lenient about sin. God is with us and is revealing covered sin. Sin brings unreality, but God will not leave us like this. He will not have hypocrisy – either repent or go. The story of Israel and Phinehas. Be real with God. There is forgiveness if there is real repentance. We cannot find God or be healed until we deal with our sin. Be like Phinehas and Nathan, burning for God and for righteousness.

Podcast #44: Saturday September 30th 2006

Sunday, November 19th, 2006

This sermon was recorded on the evening of Saturday September 30th 2006 in our Glasgow Church. The speaker is Mrs. Grace Gault.

Speaking Notes

The call of God – come up into the mount and be there. Have a hunger for more of God. Doing ‘works’ for God is good, but Christ did say “that you will always have the poor, but not Me”. Do not leave your inner life. Satan will keep you busy, even on the Lord’s work just to keep you away from fellowship with Christ. There is a cost to follow Christ deeply. When Moses was under pressure he took time to be alone with God. We can’t find Him if we have other things in our life. We need to die to self.
