Podcast: New Year Conference 2006/07: January 1st 2007 – Evening

Saturday, January 20th, 2007

This sermon was recorded on the evening of January 1st 2007 in our Greenock Church. The speaker is Mrs. Grace Gault. This recording contains the New Year Word for 2007.

Speaking Notes

This New Year word has come with a tremendous sense of love. We are aware of our desperate inadequacies, our need for God, our fear of bringing the Lord’s name into disrepute because of our failings. The drawing near of His glory among us draws us close into holiness. It is His mercy that gives the rebellious a chance. The door will not always remain open. Where there is holy living the promise will be fulfilled. The cloud and the shining fire will be our covering. Where there is holiness the glory will be there – a gentle soft cloud where we can lose ourselves in God, the consuming fire and the shining light by night. The whole armour of God – take it upon your self. It is your duty to be in a good condition that you may be used at any moment by God.

Saturday, January 20th, 2007

This sermon was recorded on the afternoon of January 1st 2007 in our Greenock Church. The speaker is Mrs. Diana Rutherford.

Speaking Notes

There is a longing for unity within the church of Christ – a sense of unity in the leadership, a place where sacrificial living is required. This is a place where negative thoughts are not allowed. They need to be taken to the cross. Love looks not at itself. Support the leadership, not looking out for your self. God is going to move in your life this year.

Podcast: New Year Conference 2006/07: December 31st 2006 – Watchnight

Saturday, January 20th, 2007

This sermon was recorded at the watchnight service on December 31st 2006 in our Greenock Church. The speaker is Mrs. Grace Gault.

Speaking Notes

There has been great opposition since the summer, but Grace has seen a glimpse of the future full of God, fire and light. If you feel your life is being contested, it is so that the spirit and power of Elijah may fall on you. The daughters demanded their inheritance. We must seek for ours and ask God for it. We can’t change the past, but we can turn our faces towards the future. We each have an inheritance in God which is God Himself. Seek and ask for it.

Saturday, January 20th, 2007

This sermon was recorded on the evening of December 31st 2006 in our Greenock Church. The speaker is Miss J. Jack.

Speaking Notes

Jeremiah’s ministry begins in the reign of Josiah – the doom and gloom prophet. He was in prison because he spoke of judgement. His spirit travelled forward. Call unto me and I will answer you – a cry of faith, a way into a new dimension. He wants us to travel onwards in victory. Unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in His wings? Who is this that cometh from Edom? Words of Christ’s second coming.

Podcast #59: January 13th 2006

Saturday, January 20th, 2007

This sermon was recorded on the evening of January 13th 2006 in our Glasgow Church. The speaker is Mrs. Diana Rutherford.

Speaking Notes

Then I became in His eyes, one who found peace. There are many restless spirits who are always busy looking ahead for the next stage and miss out on the anointing of God that is happening now. God is manifestly with us, we sometimes grieve the Holy Spirit with our prayers. Is our ambition focused on the wrong thing, so we miss out? Think of Mary and Martha. Martha was distracted by much serving. Your relationship with Christ, not what you do for Him. Stillness and a quiet meditation within your spirit. A deep throbbing and a life filled with peace. Don’t be distracted with any amount of serving.

Podcast #58: January 6th 2007

Saturday, January 20th, 2007

This sermon was recorded on the evening of January 6th 2007 in our Glasgow Church. The speaker is Mrs. Grace Gault.

Speaking Notes

Zechariah and Elizabeth were righteous. An unborn child can be spirit filled – reference to the New Year Word regarding holiness of living within the home. The love of God should be transmitted through the parent to the child. There is hope for those who have gone astray – the training of Elijah, and his fearlessness on Mount Carmel. A lack of confidence prevents us from doing God’s work.

Podcast #57: December 30th 2006

Saturday, January 20th, 2007

This sermon was recorded on the evening of December 30th 2006 in our Glasgow Church. The speaker is Mrs. Grace Gault.

Speaking Notes

Temptation in the wilderness. The gospels reveal the innerness of Christ’s life. The spirit led Christ to the desert to be tempted – why? He was taking back ground that Adam and Eve lost. God allows us to be tempted as He wants us to be ever deepening in knowledge and likeness to Him. The thrust of the temptation is always the same – hath God said? Does He love you? Are you right with Him? The devil can quote scripture for his use and it can be a half-truth, but it is twisted. Christ used the word of God to defeat satan. God’s word is the only thing that will defeat the devil. Don’t reason or argue, as the devil always has an answer. Christ’s victory is making a way of victory for us. He often leads us into our wilderness, and how we react in there will affect other lives around us. In David’s life we see the lasting consequence of sin because He did not resist temptation. God loves a pioneer. Christ pioneered the way for us completely and there is victory for us on every front. In the midst of trial, search for Christ in the garden of Gethsemane. Christ pioneered victory – will you be a pioneer and demand victory? There is strength in Christ.
