Speaking Notes
You shall see the King in His beauty and the land without horizon. God on Mount Sinai. The God who came in fire on Sinai is the same King in His beauty. We know that Christ is a God of fire, but we choose not to draw close. If you are dissatisfied with what you know o God, ask to know the Man of fire. Pentecost is the anniversary of Sinai. This is the God of revival. At Sinai, most of the people did not want to see God, they sinned with the golden calf. Pray that we do not do this and become comfortable. Moses broke the tablets of the law, this speaks of the fact that God knew we could not keep the law. God then revealed Himself to Moses as a God of mercy and wrote the law again. We need to see the offended God of fire before we can appreciate the God of love and mercy. The Mount of Transfiguration – the glorious revelation to His closest followers. Are you hungry? Christ was white in the beauty of purity. He will reveal and transfigure Himself to us. He is Christ Divine – wholly other. As Christ came down the mountain, He delivered the possessed boy. The hill called Calvary – This is the same Christ who wears the crimson robe. They crucified Him here. He laid aside His rights and glory for us. He bore our burdens and grief’s. Are you carrying a burden? Cast your burden on Him for He cares for you. Was Calvary the end? No – just a door opening the way to God and Mount Zion.
