Easter Conference 2008: Evening of Sunday, March 23rd 2008

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008

This sermon was recorded on the evening of Sunday, March 23rd in our Greenock Church. The speaker is Miss J. Jack.

Speaking Notes

The Passover feast. The power of Salvation and how to find that power. Leven speaks of sin – it was not to be in the peoples houses. There are levels of cleansing. He uncovers layers of sin in our lives. Revival begins at the house of God. Let the work being done in you go deeper. When we fast, somehow we become aware of another dimension in God. We find more access to God. Unknown barriers are uncovered by God. Open your life to Him, for safety is under the blood of Jesus. He humbled Himself and went down to death. Come under the blood of the Lamb. You can do nothing without Jesus. Let God deal with your problems, let Him cleanse you and break you – become humble. Your Redeemer is mighty to save. Acknowledge that you need the Redeemer more and more, not only at Salvation, but continually cleansing out sin in us. Let the Lord do His work in your life.

Easter Conference 2008: Afternoon of Sunday, March 23rd 2008

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008

This sermon was recorded on the afternoon of Sunday, March 23rd in our Greenock Church. The speaker is Mrs. Alison Speirs.

Speaking Notes

Theme from the New Year Word. Be humble. At the new year there was a feeling of setting aside and finding a deep place in God. Cleanse me O Lord from that hidden sin. A deep place of repentance before God. Cause His light to shine within you that we might see what He wants us to do. We wait and hope with anticipation, and move forward with all our being so that we might get closer to Him. One of the worst sins is pride. We notice this in the world. God abhors it in the church. We need to make allowances for each others faults. Blessed is the one who knows that their sins are forgiven.

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008

This sermon was recorded on the morning of Sunday, March 23rd in our Greenock Church. The speaker is Mrs. Grace Gault.

Speaking Notes

The love of God. Thoughts around the death and resurrection of Jesus and how it affected the disciples. When Jesus says your name, He does it in love. Many people use their mind to try to understand and prove that Christ was alive, yet Christ can be very real to us. Peter was drawn back by the love that Jesus had for him. Paul – the light shown in his heart won him. The plan that God has for you is perfect – trust in Him.

Easter Conference 2008: Evening of Saturday, March 22nd

Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008

This sermon was recorded on the evening of Saturday, March 22nd in our Glasgow Church. The speaker is Mrs. Grace Gault.

Speaking Notes

Jacob’s blessing for Joseph. Be vigilant of the devil, learn wisdom so that we can resist him. We must fight our own spiritual battles – victory is attainable. God’s strategy will prevail if we yield our lives to Him. Joseph was chosen of God, but was greatly tried. He found himself hemmed in, in prison. God allowed this and trained him in that place. Iron entered into him. He kept faith with God, and God brought him out and won the victory. Elisha and the hosts of heaven. Sometimes we feel surrounded by the enemy, shut in, then suddenly God moves. Christ seemed shut in and defeated on the 2nd day, in the tomb, but He contended with the enemy. God’s strategy to go to Calvary outwitted the devil and won redemption. He appeared cut off and shut in, but in there He strikes the blow and wins the victory. You may feel cut off and finished, but God is faithful. You can be hemmed in by self, sin, limitations or circumstances, but God can open the doors. Come into resurrection life. He is the God of the impossible.
