Speaking Notes

The covenant keeping God. As a child needs time with their father, so we too should take time to be with God. This will help your growth in God and deepen your love for Him. Abraham was given the promise of a son. He looked for blessing to pass on to his heir. Something of Calvary was shown to Abraham in the darkness. God will draw us close to Him. He has a deep love for us all.

People have been met at camps for many years. Example of the New York subway and how crime has lessened there because of various things that have happened – not just one solution. The theory of the cracked window. Wearing righteousness like a breastplate. The ability to live above immorality and the importance of believing in the power of cleanness. Example of Alison’s father and his work situation. Christ comes to those who turn from their transgressions. Deal with the cracks in your spirit. Righteousness forces back evil.

This sermon was recorded on the morning of August 6th, 2008 at our August 2008 Summer Camp. The speaker is Miss J. Jack.

Speaking Notes

The turning of the tide continued. Christ was willing and obedient to go – not like Moses. The tide turned at Gethsemane. Christ went against sin inside man. The only way to turn the tide was for the punishment of sin to break over Christ. Gethsemane must be outworked and followed through – Satan was defeated. The veil which prevented the way back to God was rent in two. A way has been opened for us into the presence of God. We must expect to come out into victory and freedom. Don’t look at yourself, look at Christ. The disciples were taken from weakness, defeat and despair into the tide of Christ. The road to Emmaus – God’s Light shone and showed them their sin, and then He brought out all the thoughts and feelings to the surface. He then showed Himself. Resurrection life sweeps away the old. The secret is to look to Christ – not your sin.

Monday, August 11th, 2008

This sermon was recorded on the evening of August 5th, 2008 at our August 2008 Summer Camp. The speaker is Mrs. G. Gault.

Speaking Notes

Reference from the New Year Word. It took Hezekiah 2 weeks to rid the temple of the rubbish. Many of the priest were found not to be purified or holy. Revival – God is an awesome God – there is sin in the camp. The basic law of the temple is holiness – it doesn’t go away or change. There are many things done in Christ’s name that are an abomination. He who is not with Me is against Me. Don’t bring sorrow to God by the way you live. Be determined to be holy.
