This sermon was recorded on the evening of Saturday June 27th, 2009 at our Glasgow Church. The speaker is Mrs. D. Rutherford. Speaking Notes

Luke 5 – Peter, James and John were astonished with the amount of fish that they gathered in after having had a bad night of fishing. Christ was particularly drawn to Peter. Peter was tired because of the long night that had passed, yet he was obedient to Christ. if we don’t obey Christ in the small issues, we miss golden opportunities. Obedience brings blessing. Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse. Blessings poured out that could not be contained. Have you brought all the tithes in? Are you fully committed to Him? Are you prepared to give yourself deeply to, and for the work of God – unreservedly? Revival stops because people stop asking. Pray on, that the blessing will flow. The disciples left everything to follow Christ. We must leave all – inwardly. The love I bear is held from no one. Steep your soul in prayer.

This sermon was recorded on the evening of Saturday June 20th, 2009 at our Glasgow Church. The speaker is Mrs. G. Gault. Speaking Notes

Malachi – New Year Word. We have to make preparation to move on spiritually. The cloud of glory – Moses disappeared into this cloud. The top can seem clouded when you reach nearer to God. Peter, James and John also climbed, they saw Christ in His glory, yet they came down seemingly unchanged. Some of us have met Him wonderfully, yet we still live in the natural. Peter was so different after Pentecost. The disciples first saw the horror of mount Calvary. They had known Christ, but after Pentecost they had moved into His realm. Come up to Me on the mountain to stay there.

This sermon was recorded on the evening of Saturday June 13th, 2009 at our Glasgow Church. The speaker is Miss J. Jack. Speaking Notes

Zechariah 3 – Our calling in God. Though Joshua was a man who sought God, he was in filthy rags and satan accused him. All our righteousness is as rags. Christ is the only advocate for us – He rebukes satan. We are called to stand in Gods presence and be changed. Satan will accuse us with things that are founded on truth – we must learn to come past this to the place where Christ is beside us and strengthens us. He is perfect and He is able to take away all our sins. We must come into that place with Christ again and again. Only from that place can we go out and fulfil our calling. In that place we are anointed. Satan could accuse Moses rightly of many things, but he was called to be upon the mountain with God, and he was changed there. He was called to lead the people, but before that he was to be saturated in God. Satan could accuse Paul also, but he spent years with God, and knew Christ. He was called to be an apostle to the Gentiles, but before that to be with God under His anointing. We are all called to be in the presence of God again and again, to know Jesus from there and to be anointed for service.

This sermon was recorded on the evening of Saturday June 6th, 2009 at our Glasgow Church. The speaker is Mrs. G. Gault. Speaking Notes

Isaiah 10v27, Exodus, Hosea 11 – The breaking of the yoke. Christ will take your burden. If you are bound by anything, come to Christ who will free you. Never underestimate the devil. Stay in Christ and do not tackle the devil. Christ is the One who set us free. Remember that you can resist the devil. The people around Moses wanted freedom and tried to break free to worship the wrong god. A deep sin was committed by them in the doing of this. The swiftness of the moving of the hind. They have a freedom that we too should have. Take time to feed on Christ.

Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009

This sermon was recorded on the evening of Saturday May 30th, 2009 at our Glasgow Church. The speaker is Mrs. G. Gault. Speaking Notes

Daniel 3 – The three men were not afraid in the furnace, they had faith in God. Where is that courage in the present day? Where are the people who will stand for Christ? There is no middle position – only for or against. Christ walked with them in the fire and intervened. God always intervenes in His own time – trust and wait for Him. If He leads us into trial, we will find Him there – He knows, and is able. Never leave God out of the equation or the future. He knows and is never too late – we cannot manipulate God. God intervened in Eden to save us – trust Him, he will intervene for us. In our hearts we underestimate Gods power in our lives. Pray that He will purify His church. Don’t let any compromise come in. Walk with Christ at every moment.
