Tuesday, January 26th, 2010

This sermon was recorded on the evening of Saturday January 23rd, 2010 at our Glasgow Church. The speaker is Mrs. G. Gault. Speaking Notes

Deut 32 v 9, Joshua 14. The children of Israel chose areas of the land of promise for their inheritance. Caleb still desired the land he had spied out 40 years earlier – he was still strong. He subdued it and it became his. Caleb’s daughter asked for springs of water as well as the land for her inheritance – she was very particular about it. Levi’s inheritance was God. The Lord’s portion is His people. We are His portion – He has fought for us and laid down His life to find us and subdue our enemies. He is laying up an incorruptible inheritance for us in heaven, we can trust Him. He is preparing a place in heaven for each of us. We are His inheritance now – are you ready? We are called to freedom, not legalism, through the expulsive power of a greater affection. The city of God is the Bride of Christ – pure, holy and safe. He is the light of that city. Are you making preparations to become His inheritance? Look to Christ, be obedient and you will get to know Christ and see His face. Obedience leads to His light.

This sermon was recorded on the evening of Saturday January 16th, 2010 at our Glasgow Church. The speaker is Mrs. G. Gault. Speaking Notes

2 Cor. 3, Isaiah 52 & 53, Matt 16, Rev 20 – The veil has been taken away through Christ, and we see His glory. Look upon Christ and draw strength from Him. He was a man of sorrows and it could be seen in His face. In the church of Christ a type of counselling has crept in that is wrong and is not under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. When we look at the Man of Calvary we are opened up, healed and set free. His face shines as bright as the sun. Under His power many are laid prostrate before Him. The face of the One upon the throne of judgement – we flee from that one. Are you on the Lords side? Do you believe? The truth shall be made known unto you. He is the answer for all your pain and fears – do you believe?

Thursday, January 14th, 2010

This sermon was recorded on the evening of Saturday January 9th, 2010 at our Glasgow Church. The speaker is Mrs. G. Gault. Speaking Notes

1 Kings 1 – David gathered those around him who were of like mind, and trained them to be the valiant of the valiant. The physical courage to stand for what is right. Adonijah reckoned that he would be king as David was dying. He did not invite those who would do right before God and David to his ceremony. Always be obedient to God and do the right thing. Solomon counted on those who would do the right thing and have tremendous courage. Take courage and be a man who is complete in Christ. Christ will give this courage in its completeness. To be a real follower of Christ you need to have an inside courage to stand against the devil and all his weapons. Courage, endurance and determination are what are required of you.

Sunday, January 10th, 2010

This sermon was recorded on the evening of Saturday January 2nd, 2010 at the New Year Conference. The speaker is Mrs D. Rutherford. Speaking Notes

Proverbs 8 v 22 – In the beginning. Christ has been established from the beginning. He is the delight of the Father. Whoever finds me, finds life. All things were made through Him. The Word, from the beginning became flesh and dwelt among us. The spirit of God will reveal Jesus to us. The importance of the baptism in the Holy Spirit. The desire for independence keeps out the spirit. A lack of desire to be at meetings or to find a depth of spirituality shows a lack of death to self. Seek out again the glory of God.

New Year Conference 2009-10, Saturday Afternoon

Sunday, January 10th, 2010

This sermon was recorded on the afternoon of Saturday January 2nd, 2010 at the New Year Conference. The speaker is Mrs A. Speirs. Speaking Notes

2Kings 23 v 25. Many are in an evil, sinful way of life – this is displeasing to God. Some have no understanding of spiritual life, and are completely ignorant of God. Josiah was eight years old, his father was sinful and in a terrible state, worshipping all sorts of gods. Josiah was shocked. He sought the Lord with all his heart and made a covenant with God. When the light shines, all is revealed. Josiah threw out all the images so that the land might be purified. All were used to clear and repair the holy place. The law of Moses was brought to light and Josiah was blessed by the reading of these laws. The voice of praise was heard in the land again. To us is given the power to speak to our land about the ways of the Lord. You are immune from their attacks – we will come home rejoicing. If you are stuck in a rut, seek ye the Lord, open your heart and be healed of all the things that would hold you back.

Sunday, January 10th, 2010

This sermon was recorded on the evening of Friday January 1st, 2010 at the New Year Conference. The speaker is Mrs G. Gault. Speaking Notes

Psalm 126 v 5& 6 – Those who are not walking closely to God must purify themselves. The promise of an incoming of souls. Reference to David Wilkerson and his experience. We come to a place of tears and suffering, a cutting back in our life, that we may come forth with fruit. For a work of God to grow, there is a cost to bring in a harvest. We are all involved in the reaping of the harvest – one to preach, one to sing etc. Launch out into the deep to fulfill the promise of God. Reference to meetings in earlier days and how deeply God met Grace. It brought her much deeper into the things of God, a gave her a deeper hunger for Him. As we go deeper, others will see and then they too will seek for Him.

New Year Conference 2009-10, Friday Afternoon

Sunday, January 10th, 2010

This sermon was recorded on the afternoon of Friday January 1st, 2010 at the New Year Conference. The speaker is Miss J. Jack. Speaking Notes

Exodus 19. He served with Moses as they went before Pharaoh. God spoke to him as well as Moses. When Moses was up the mountain, things down below were going very wrong. The people did not wait for the moving of God. We need to learn to wait on God, as did the 120 in the upper room. Is there in you a stand for righteousness, truth and holiness? Aaron wanted to be popular with the people, not looking to what God was saying. If you have a tendency to sin, you will not go very deep spiritually. When two of Aarons sons offered false fire and died before God, Aaron was told not to complain before God. Do you complain to God when things do not go your way? If you do this will hinder your spiritual walk. There comes a time when Aaron stands with Moses when the people go against God. Through his trials change had come in. There is a place of death to self and the out working of the work of God.

Proverbs 29 v 18. Where there is no vision the people perish. Every place your foot treads on I will give to you. Be hungrier for God than ever before. Have a vision – do not be disobedient to the heavenly vision. Joshua had a vision of the man with a drawn sword – what says my Lord to His servant. Abraham was blessed because he was faithful to God. We have different callings, be faithful to God and find Him.
