Sunday, February 21st, 2010

This sermon was recorded on the evening of Saturday February 20th, 2010 at our Glasgow Church. The speaker is Mrs. G. Gault. Speaking Notes

Numbers 35v9 – The law of Moses has made an impact upon the laws in Britain. There were six cities of refuge in Israel where a slayer could go to plead their case. Human life is precious to God, yet we value it as very low. The slayer could not leave the city of refuge until the High Priest died. Our High Priest – Christ – paid for us with His blood. We should run to Christ when we are in trouble. We often underestimate the power of God and we try other ways of help before going to God. Reference to the story of the prodigal son. As the son was accepted by the father, so are we.

This sermon was recorded on the evening of Saturday February 13th, 2010 at our Glasgow Church. The speaker is Miss J. Jack. Speaking Notes

Exodus 19 & 34, Hebrews 10. We all travel on in life, it should be so spiritually as well. God met Moses in the desert at the burning bush, also on the mountain – each time he was met deeper by God and His glory. As we are filled with His glory it affects the meetings and those who come to it. Both the saved and unsaved find God and are drawn closer to Him. On the Mount of Transfiguration, Christ revealed some of His glory. To be able to transmit the power of Christ you need to be living in touch with Christ. We need to live in the realm of eternity to be able to bring it down.

This sermon was recorded on the evening of Saturday February 6th, 2010 at our Glasgow Church. The speaker is Mrs. G. Gault. Speaking Notes

Numbers 33v50. Gods words and instructions to Moses were clear. They knew the land was occupied and they were told to drive out all the inhabitants. They were to make no treaties with them or their god or they would be defeated. They would be like splinters in their eyes. Gods instructions were literal, yet they also have a spiritual implication for us. We come so far and respond when the light of God is upon us – don’t stop there until you are completely free from unresolved areas in your life. Make no treaty with sin – base your treaties on absolute victory. To the one who repents much love is given. God is on your side to set your spirit free so that you can worship Him. If deliverance is needed, let it happen. We carry all sorts of scars that take hold upon us – these too we must bring to Christ that He may deal with them and set us free.

Saturday, February 6th, 2010

This sermon was recorded on the evening of Saturday January 30th, 2010 at our Glasgow Church. The speaker is Mrs. D. Rutherford. Speaking Notes

Luke 4 v 32. Satanic power is all around us. Many have a spirit of uncleanness. There is a feeling of discomfort when the light of Christ shines. Christ comes to destroy the wall of darkness within us. Many are freed with physical manifestations, but Christ is always in control. Self pity is a darkness. You have to make the choice to be freed. Sexual activity outside of marriage leads to demon possession. Even dabbling in unclean things leads to darkness. A renouncing of the things that are wrong is necessary. Anger, occult, drink, drugs, etc. cause people to lose control. Christ can utterly change your life until the old life becomes unrecognizable.
