[edit] New Year Conference
[edit] 31/12/09 Watch night: Mrs G Gault - New beginning
- Proverbs 29 v 18. Where there is no vision the people perish. Every place your foot treads on I will give to you. Be hungrier for God than ever before. Have a vision – do not be disobedient to the heavenly vision. Joshua had a vision of the man with a drawn sword – what says my Lord to His servant. Abraham was blessed because he was faithful to God. We have different callings, be faithful to God and find Him.
- Alison Speirs – report of 2009.
[edit] 01/01/10 aft: Miss J Jack -The life of Aaron
- Exodus 19. He served with Moses as they went before Pharaoh. God spoke to him as well as Moses. When Moses was up the mountain, things down below were going very wrong. The people did not wait for the moving of God. We need to learn to wait on God, as did the 120 in the upper room. Is there in you a stand for righteousness, truth and holiness? Aaron wanted to be popular with the people, not looking to what God was saying. If you have a tendency to sin, you will not go very deep spiritually. When two of Aarons sons offered false fire and died before God, Aaron was told not to complain before God. Do you complain to God when things do not go your way? If you do this will hinder your spiritual walk. There comes a time when Aaron stands with Moses when the people go against God. Through his trials change had come in. There is a place of death to self and the out working of the work of God.
- Diana Rutherford – report of 2009.
[edit] 01/01/10 pm: Mrs G Gault - New Year Word
- Psalm 126 v 5& 6 – Those who are not walking closely to God must purify themselves. The promise of an incoming of souls. Reference to David Wilkerson and his experience. We come to a place of tears and suffering, a cutting back in our life, that we may come forth with fruit. For a work of God to grow, there is a cost to bring in a harvest. We are all involved in the reaping of the harvest – one to preach, one to sing etc. Launch out into the deep to fulfill the promise of God. Reference to meetings in earlier days and how deeply God met Grace. It brought her much deeper into the things of God, a gave her a deeper hunger for Him. As we go deeper, others will see and then they too will seek for Him.
- Gareth Watkins – report of 2009.
[edit] 02/01/10 aft: Mrs A Speirs - King Josiah
- 2Kings 23 v 25. Many are in an evil, sinful way of life - this is displeasing to God. Some have no understanding of spiritual life, and are completely ignorant of God. Josiah was eight years old, his father was sinful and in a terrible state, worshipping all sorts of gods. Josiah was shocked. He sought the Lord with all his heart and made a covenant with God. When the light shines, all is revealed. Josiah threw out all the images so that the land might be purified. All were used to clear and repair the holy place. The law of Moses was brought to light and Josiah was blessed by the reading of these laws. The voice of praise was heard in the land again. To us is given the power to speak to our land about the ways of the Lord. You are immune from their attacks – we will come home rejoicing. If you are stuck in a rut, seek ye the Lord, open your heart and be healed of all the things that would hold you back.
[edit] 02/01/10 pm: Mrs D Rutherford - The Word
- Proverbs 8 v 22 – In the beginning. Christ has been established from the beginning. He is the delight of the Father. Whoever finds me, finds life. All things were made through Him. The Word, from the beginning became flesh and dwelt among us. The spirit of God will reveal Jesus to us. The importance of the baptism in the Holy Spirit. The desire for independence keeps out the spirit. A lack of desire to be at meetings or to find a depth of spirituality shows a lack of death to self. Seek out again the glory of God.
- Jennifer Jack – report of 2009.
[edit] Easter Conference
[edit] 02/04/10 pm: Mrs D Rutherford - Power of the resurrection
- Reference to an experience Diana had last Saturday night. A dark feeling had come over her spirit. A vision of Christ was given to her – I am the resurrection said Christ. He is the resurrection - joy is full. When Peter denied Christ, Christ looked at him. Peter spoke to the lame man – he walked and leapt and praised God. The resurrection life was passed on to Peter. They preached that in Jesus was the resurrection of the dead. It was then that they were brought before the Sanhedrin. Jesus confronts Saul. Deny thyself and take up thy cross and follow Him. Do all things with a cheerful heart. Deny yourself every day and you will find the way into the spirit very deeply. Behold, not all will sleep. Enter into the power of the resurrection.
[edit] 03/04/10 aft: Mrs A Speirs - Finished
- John 12,17 & 19. It is finished. These were the last words of Christ. The work that Christ had done on earth as Man was finished. During all this time, and until the end, Christ held on to His communion with God and glorified Him. We are called to be changed into His glory. He has overcome the world, and we can trust in Him. Do not let the things of the world come in to your life or church. Live at the cross and overcome the world. We are to live in joy and gladness, and one day we shall see Him. Our separation from God is over and we are able to enter into union with God as Christ has.
[edit] 03/04/10 pm: Mrs G Gault - Spiritual warfare
- Ephesians 6. We are in spiritual warfare whether we like it or not. The tug of the world will become less and less as we walk with God, yet there will be a continual battle until we get to heaven. There can be a wrong focus and attention given to spiritual things that you may not have an anointing for. Elijah had total confidence in God to face his enemy. Have we got the same confidence in God. His confidence came through years of experience and closeness to God. At Calvary, Christ won for us victory and power over sin. Christ died to take our sin and the love of sinning out of us. How do you get from a general belief in God to a place where you are able to say “you are my God.” -you become trained in the quiet place alone with God.
[edit] 04/04/10 am: Mrs G Gault - Jesus Himself drew near
- John 11. The raising of Lazarus. The words of Jesus to Martha were “ Said I not unto thee that if thou wouldst believe thou would see the glory of God.” These words of Christ lived for them in the afterward as he went to suffer and die, as they saw the Christ and Messiah hanging on the cursed tree. These words come to us also. Christ wants to come and show His glory this morning to you and me. He is never more glorious to us than when we see Him on that tree. Unspeakable joy came on resurrection morning. Mary didn’t know she was seeing that glory until He spoke her name. That glory is Himself and His appearing. Jesus Himself drew near and walked with them. They trusted Him. That Sunday brought peace in place of turmoil, the gradual dawning realization – He is alive. They didn’t recognize that glory to begin with. Jesus draws near to walk with us and knows exactly what companionship is needed. The Son of Righteousness began to arise in their souls and bring healing.
[edit] 04/04/10 aft: Mr A Jewell - A time of refreshing
- Acts 3v19. A time of refreshing from the grace of the Lord. Ahab and Elijah and the coming of the rain. The cloud was the size of a mans hand. When Christ came out of the tomb Mary saw Him. This is a time to seek after the water of life and be filled with Christ.
[edit] 04/04/10 pm: Miss J Jack - The demonstration of His power
- We need to turn our eyes away from ourselves and look to Christ to find that power of life in Him. The veil was rent at the death of Christ. The dead were raised and a way was made through to God in heavenly and earthly places. Our sin is taken away by the sacrifice that God has made. Never mistake power with noise. There was much noise at Pentecost, but also with quietness came much power as in the day Christ rose from the dead. The sweeping away of old things and letting new life enter in. Take time to think upon Jesus. Let the power come in to change you. Something of the eternal light has come amongst us.
[edit] July Camp 2010
[edit] 12/07/10 pm: Mrs A Speirs – Cause my light to shine
- Psalm 32, Job -reference to a book called Kidnap. Have you come here this week with your own agenda, or are you here to meet with God? If you are bored with life you need to have an injection of the life of Christ and repent of your sin - list of different sins given. You should be speaking of the things that are lovely and beautiful, and not speaking wrong against other people. The darkness and despair of hopelessness. We look at the visible and we feel down – look towards God, He can do anything. Light shines into the dark places. You need to repent and to go deeper in God. By faith, let the blood cleanse you, this is the work of God in you.
[edit] 13/07/10 am: Mark Rodgers
- Hypocrisy, guile and tassles.
[edit] 13/07/10 am: Miss J Jack - Calvary from the Father and the Son
- Genesis 22 Looking at Calvary from the Father and the Son. Abraham was a man obedient to God, we can learn from him. As Issac carried the wood, Abraham carried the knife and fire -this is similar to that of the work on Calvary. God died – a lamb was provided – His Son for a sacrifice. Abraham built the altar for his son. How can you doubt when you see the road that was taken at Calvary? Christ was
alone in Gethsemane. The grief that touches your heart when sin comes upon you – think what Christ felt when the sin of the world had come upon Him. There was no stay of the hand of God as there had been with Abraham. Take hope when you see what Christ has done for you on the cross. Darkness covered Calvary – the sin of the world, the gathering hoards of hell and the veiling of the suffering of God the Father and the Son. Be encouraged at what happened at the cross.
[edit] 13/07/10 pm: Mrs G Gault - Genesis 11v27
- Unfortunately, too much time is spent at camp with people getting themselves right with God.
Reference to Graces youth and hearing a lot of preaching on the call to the deeps of God. Abraham was called and was obedient, leaving behind his idolatrious country with its idols. He made an altar and dedicated it to God. He went further with God and dedicated another altar – he forsook his idols. God puts His finger on idols in our life as we move deeper with Him. There needs to be a breaking and surrendering to Him – Gods will, not mine. Suffering is one of the keys that opens the deeps of God, and it will bring humility. Don't count yourself out, we shall only be able to hide under the blood of Christ.
- Elaine Black – testimony.
[edit] 14/07/10 am: Miss J Jack - What Calvary means to man
- Matthew 27v15. Every type of person was at the cross shouting against Christ - Pilate said he was innocent. Something had gripped the people exposing the corruption of mankind. Calvary exposes sin. Darkness covered the earth – Why? Man was trying to put out the light of the world – they rejected Him and brought darkness on themselves. It is a foretaste of hell – separation from God. The only way to Calvary is through repentance and brokenness. Coming to Calvary is a spiritual road. We must come to acknowledge our need of a Saviour in repentance. At Calvary, Christ draws us with His love and light into a place of forgiveness. We must come to this place often by the road of repentance, otherwise the darkness of sin and judgement will remain there as a barrier. The power of the cross of Christ. The curtain was rent in two, the way was opened into the glory of the light of God. Ressurrection was now inevitable because the power of death was now broken - Christ was victorious. Calvary means cleansing, deliverance, freedom and release. Leave the night and go out into newness of life. The darkness is over and the price has been paid if you come to calvary with repentance. The judgement is for those who will not embrace the cross. Satan is a defeated foe – he failed. There is no defeat in Jesus Christ.
[edit] 14/07/10 pm: Mrs D Rutherford - Deliverance
- Isaiah 13v3. There are those who are called as mighty ones to work Gods will in the church. Examples given of how people become possessed by demons. Deliverance is something within in that is needing to be brought out. I will tread him underfoot and remove the yoke. People carry many burdens, Christ
can lift them from you. Many who are set free turn back to their sin. Christ destroys the yoke so that you can be free for ever. Live daily under the anointing of God. He will give you rest from your sorrow. The goodness in us will bring a song of joy and happiness in Him. This song will be in you day and night. There can come an addiction to computer games and screens of various kinds which is wrong and will affect your communion with Christ. Satan has a way of getting in the back door of the church. What are you doing with your free time? Set time for your church and time alone with God.
- Gareth Watkins – testimony to deliverance.
[edit] 15/07/10 am: Mr A Jewell – Do you finally believe?
- John 16v31. God is asking you to stretch out and believe for something new. He is able to break and change us and bring us into His light. You have been and are being Saved every day. This is the gospel that is alive and never changes. It still orks and brings change today, yet there are those in
the church who are still in terrible bondage and darkness. So many are so far away from the gospel of Christ. Be ye clean who bear the vessels of the Lord. Only he can revive His church. The Lord restoring Zion.
[edit] 15/07/10 pm: Mrs G Gault – Answering the call of God
- Gen 1v2. Finding the high call of God. The abyss of God. We can have a hunger for food, but our spiritual hunger should be greater. As Moses got older his desire for God grew as well. Daniel and his friends had a trust in God. Daniel had a hunger for more of God, and he also had visions. Johns vision of Jesus in Revelation is one of glorious power. The heavens declare the glory of God. To enter into the life of God you need to seek Him as Daniel did. Those who seek me shall find me. When
we are broken open we find the deeps of God within us.
- Mags Ferguson – testimony to healing.
[edit] 16/07/10 am: Mrs G Gault - Unity
- Unity is as precious at the anointing oil. Harmony has the same effect as oil. Without the anointing we are unable to function in the body of Christ. We need the anointing and unity like refreshing rain. Throughout history the church was in disunity and fighting. In the setting of our own church there must be unity. We can honestly want it, yet there are lives who are rebellious or holding things back from God. How do we do it? Have the love of Christ that covers but does not compromise. Sometimes there is just a clash of personality that causes disunity. We must continually go to the cross and die there daily. Always think the best and let the oil flow until we learn to live in unity. Low-level unity is sometimes all that is possible. Christ wants high-level unity – abiding in Christ and being one with Him. While we stay in Christ and are pruned, we are one with Him and one with others who are in Him. There must be a centre of unity in the church where we are one in Christ – this leads to fruitfulness. Unity is often assaulted – don't listen to the devil, he is a wicked liar. He will try to break our unity. Christ is faithful and able. Reference to Lilias Trotter, a missionary in Algiers. Unity is not about personality, but about oneness in Christ.
[edit] 16/07/10 pm: Miss J Jack – Obedience to God
- 2 Kings 5. God is wonderful at being able to find the raw nerve in us. Naaman had a wrong reaction that had to be put right. We have things in us that need to be exposed so that God can deal with them. After Naaman had been obiedent by dipping himself in the River Jordan, he changed. He
was obedient to the word of the prophet and the word of the Lord. When the servants at the wedding obeyed and filled the water jugs, the miracle happened. Peter had a vision after which he follows the action of God. The opposite of obedience is pride and independence. Pride is at the root of all sin. Take to heart what you have learned this week at camp and you will grow in Christ. As self breaks, it is replaced by the life of God and a drive towards Him. Open yourself to the will of God in all areas of your life.
- Judy Rukin – testimony.
[edit] August Camp 2010
[edit] 02/08/10 pm: Mrs A Speirs - I, being in the way, the Lord led me
- Genesis 24 – The task of Eliezer to get a bride for Isaac. Abraham did not put his trust in Eliezer, but in his God for the right choice of bride to be made for his son. Eliezer was a type of holy spirit, Rebekah as the church of Christ, and Isaac as a Christ. Many Christians have given up much to follow after Christ. We come to this place to find Him more. At camp you can come apart and seek after God for the deepening of your spiritual life. Our lifestyle can become very busy – take time to be quiet and still. If there is sin in your life it needs sorted, so do the many fears that people hold on to. If you want to go deeper with God, these things need attended to.
[edit] 03/08/10 am: Miss J Jack - Go forward
- Exodus 14v9 – Speak to my people that they may go forward. The life of Lot – a man who had no desire to move forward in God. In Sodom he was holding on to the natural – he had to be dragged away. He saw many miracles worked under Abraham, yet he still did not have the desire to move on in God. Joshua – under Moses ministry – loved all he could and moved forward himself under God. He had a drive to move forward under the anointing. Fear of the future can hold you still and prevent you from moving forward, also holding on to the things of the old life. Shut the back door on them now and move forward. Allow God to move on your reluctant spirit and attitude and then you will be able to move forward.
- Vanda Hopkin – report on summer mission in Neath.
[edit] 03/08/10 pm: Mrs G Gault - I will pour water upon you
- I will pour water upon you, and floods upon the dry ground. The dry ground needs to have moisture added to it to be able to take the floods. The ground needs to be broken up to be able to receive the rain of the Holy Spirit. Have you been flooded by the Spirit? Is there a daily hunger in you for Christ? We often look for something that will satisfy us in many areas of the world – the answer is in following Christ and being filled with the Holy Spirit. He has given us power to live above all the wrong that is in us.
- Andy Creighton – testimony.
[edit] 04/08/10 am: Mark Rodgers
- 2Tim 1v11 – Preacher/Herald.
[edit] 04/08/10 am: Miss J Jack - Go forward
- Haggai 1v3 – Speak to my people that they go forward. God stirs up the people to move on out of captivity in the time of Ezra, Nehemiah and Haggai. The call came to everyone. There was a place for all who would commit to rebuilding the walls of the city – but you must be redeemed by God and wholly given to the Lord. We must desire to build the church up but also build holiness in our own lives. Carry your weapon and be ruthless against the enemy and sin. Be obedient – whatever God says to you, do it – why? so that the glory of the Lord would come in greater power. Christ came to walk with man and lead us to glory. Christ called people to follow Him and leave behind their own lives and to come apart with Him to move forward. Acts 1 Ch 2 – Life had entered into the disciples that made them move forward. They looked to heaven where Christ had gone and Pentecost came and filled them - this is the power of change.
[edit] 04/08/10 pm: Mrs D Rutherford - Deliverance
- Isaiah 29 – Deliverance. You need to be humble before God for Him to be able to set you free. Christ is the deliverer from your fear, uncleanness, anger, occult involvement and phobias. Sometimes we become too light in spiritual things. There needs to be a seeking with all your heart. The devil wants your communication with God destroyed and also your relationship with Him – are you going to let that happen? Christ wants to bring you into a place of glorious freedom. The nearer you get to Christ, the more you will hate the sin in your life – run into His holiness.
- Ailsa Sharkey – testimony to deliverance.
[edit] 05/08/10 am: Mrs G Gault - look on His face
- Hebrews 6 & 9, Psalm 17v15 – Bye and bye when I look on His face, I'll wish I had given Him more. We will all see the face of Christ - there will not be one who can look into His eyes and say – Lord, I wish I could have done more. He will want to know that we have done all that we could with our time here on earth. Suffering is part of our cross, don't let the devil frighten you away. Don't close your heart to Christ in your suffering.
[edit] 05/08/10 pm: Miss J Jack - Communion with God in Jesus Christ
- John 12, Psalm 27, Isaiah 33 – Communion with God in Jesus Christ. Mary poured out the ointment on Jesus which was costly. Mary came to see Lazarus who was dead, she only had eyes for Jesus. In the Spirit she was in touch and feeling a love for Him. There are many reasons why we draw near to the Lord – needs in our life or in the church work – have a fuller relationship with Him. Communion is a place that has nothing to do with need, it is a place where we draw near, a place of clean ground. Dwell in the house of the Lord, make it your settling place, a place of communion. Be fed in the presense of the King. There is a pathway of holiness that we need to walk on to be able to come into communion with God. He would give us a rest from a fallen world. Look away from those around you – come unto Me.
- Lesley Rankin – testimony.
[edit] 06/08/10 am: Mrs J Offord – Power/Authority
- Acts 1, Zecariah . Reference to Jennifers two dogs who have needed some training in obedience lately. Do we let our fears and anxieties rule us and not have authority over them? Change the many questions that you have to believing, and take action on the word of God to you. Temptation can appear nice, yet it can bite you. You may have things that need dealt with, but you are a child of God.
- Margaret Findlay – testimony.
[edit] 06/08/10 pm: Mrs G Gault – The unreasonableness of God
2 Chron 30. God has heard our prayers and has blessed us. He has taken away our idols and allowed us to focus on God. You will find places where there are idols – at work, college etc. Will you take your stand for Christ? The anointing sets us free – never let it go when things around you become tough. Paul had many torments in his life, but God was faithful. Put on the armour of God. We are all going home to different places, but God is with us all. We can stand firm in Him and move forward.
- Tanya Dambrowski – testimony to deliverance.
