Conferences

From Struthers Memorial Church

Our conferences are held in branch churches - usually the Greenock branch, but occasionally the Glasgow branch if the conference covers a Saturday. Unlike the summer conferences, there is no charge to attend the New Year and Easter conferences and advance booking is not required.

[edit] New Year Conference

Our New Year conference is slightly different every year, due to the days on which Christmas and New Year fall. The conference starts on December 31st with a watch-night service. There are various services on the 1st and 2nd of January.

A significant feature of this conference is the New Year Word.

[edit] Easter Conference

This conference is based in our churches in Greenock and Glasgow. It starts on Good Friday in the evening and there are meetings throughout Saturday and Sunday.

Studies on the theme of Easter are regularly very fruitful and challenging.
